Hello there,
I am wondering how I can add an image slider to the front page (Banner section).
I also would like to know how I can make images of Footer social icons to appear. So far, they are only showing as clear circles.
Thanks,
PeteNovember 30, 2018 at 1:46 am #86119wensolutionsKeymasterHello @pete,
To make the slider section appear in the front page at first you need to enable the slider section by going to Admin panel > Appearance > Customize > Sections > Slider Section. Here select either Post, category, page to display in the slider.
Also, make sure you have uploaded image in the featured image section of the individual page, post as the image in the slider comes from that section.
Now to make the social menu appear in the footer please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Create the social menu by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Menu by including your desired custom links:

Step 2: Assign the created social menu to the social menu location either from Admin Panel > Appearance > menus or from Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Menus > Menu Location.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.

And for the second question, I still don’t know how can the pictures of social icons appear. I know how to insert that menu in the footer.
Thanks.
November 30, 2018 at 4:06 am #86124wensolutionsKeymasterHello @pete,
We would like to apologize for the mistake.
To set up the banner section go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Front Page > Banner and select either page /post /custom. If post, page is selected make sure to upload the featured image section. However, the Custom option allows you to upload the image from the customizer.
As for the social option, you don’t need to add a separate image. Just create the menus adding the custom links as mentioned above and assign them to the social menu location.
You can even go through the official documentation of the theme:

Hope this helps.

However, even with the customize options Enabled, they are not appearing on the designated home page.
Please advise.
May 8, 2020 at 7:07 am #122789wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Regarding your query, everything is working fine on our side related to the issue you mentioned. Also, once please verify that you have the latest version of the theme.
You can refer to the screenshot given below as it shows the option in dropdown in slider type if you have installed and activated the recommended plugins and followed the instruction link given below.

Hope this helps.
If you have queries further, lets us know.

May 8, 2020 at 12:14 pm #122800effieParticipantI have installed version 1.0.1. Enabling the feature is not the problem. Getting it to actually display where it is intended to be is the issue. Where is your list of recommended plugins for your theme? I am unable to find any recommendations in your instructions.
May 11, 2020 at 2:41 am #122947wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
For the recommended plugins, follow the path Admin Panel > Plugins, and immediately after theme activation you can see recommended plugins there.
Plugins will help you give sections required for the setup.
Regards.
May 11, 2020 at 3:43 am #122951effieParticipantSince theme activation occurred several days ago, and I see no reference to recommended plugins in the plugin section, can you please be more specific or provide links or the list of recommended plugins in this thread?
May 11, 2020 at 4:08 am #122954wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Please go through the screen record to check the recommended plugins.

May 12, 2020 at 5:31 pm #123098effieParticipantOnly the one plugin? TP Education? Can you please provide a list of any others, as you’re referring to plugins as if it is plural… more than one? Thank you.
May 13, 2020 at 1:42 am #123131wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Regarding your query, the plugins that show up in the recommended section are the plugins recommended by the theme. And it shows only TP Education in the recommended plugin section. If you have got other plugins then you can install and activate.
You can also add the other plugins to the theme. Since we haven’t worked in the compatibility with the plugins some plugins might not cause anything while some might cause third party plugin conflicts.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
