Changing Colors and Header Images don’t persist after publishing

I switch from the free version of Greatnews to the Greatnews Pro. I first deleted the free version and then add the Pro version and updated the License key. The site is running PHP 7.4. Now if I attempt to add new images and then try to randomize uploaded headers, it doesn’t work. The preview panel says “No Image Found”. When I publish, I don’t dee the images either. Additionally, if change the colors for Header Title and Header Tagline, the preview shows the new colors, however, after publishing, I don’t see the changes. I have cleared all browser cache, but still don’t see the changes.

Hello,

I would like to experiment with my website, about removing the Header Image altogether. Or ‘hiding’ it if that’s a better word. The homepage does not seem to have a header image, and I think this would work better consider we can add pictures to individual posts.

How can I remove/hide the Header image in either individual pages/posts or the whole website? Can this be done in the free version?

Hi @CASEYJ,

Please go to Customizer > Theme Options > Single Post there is the option to enable header image or post image on the header.

Hello,

I have added a specific link to show what I’m talking about, but this is an issue with every post. When I make a post and give it a feature image, it appears where the Header Image used to be. This is frustrating for several reasons, but particularly because when formatted to the Header – the image is zoomed in and looks terrible. And also, because I want the Featured Image in the post itself, not up in the Header.

How do I prevent this from happening?

Hello, @ALEXAGB we will be releasing the new version of our theme. The issues with the color options as well as the double image issue have been fixed. It will probably take like 48 hours. Please update the theme to its latest version once the new version of the theme is released.
