We restored the site to a PHP 7.3 version and got everything working again on the site. Then updated to PHP 7.4 and slider part of Vivid-Blog-Pro seems to now be working correctly under PHP 7.4
You may now close this ticket, if I am not able.

Just updated to 7.4 yesterday and the home page “slider” of the recent blogs quit showing vertical as it should and is showing sideways/horizontal similar to what mobile versions would – except that it is doing it on PC displays.

Since your query is a technical one, we are unable to help you out as this is beyond the scope of the support forum. Support forum is entirely dedicated to assist the functional part of the theme.

Since the WordPress site is based on the concepts of hooks and filters, knowledge of solo PHP and assistance on the template file from our side can lead to some serious issues.

Due to this reason, we insist you to hire a professional developer for further assistance.

Regards!

I would like to add some PHP to create a custom field in the header, but I can’t seem to locate the appropriate file. Looking at the header.php I am confused by the syntax and what this implies-

vivid_blog_pro_before_wp_head hook

@hooked vivid_blog_pro_head – 10
