Select a Theme from the drop down menu
Newzpaper
After you purchase and download your theme from Theme Palace, you can choose either of the approaches given below to install your theme:
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- Select Add New.
- Then, select Upload Theme.
- Click Browse. Locate newzpaper.zip theme in your computer.
- Select newzpaper.zip and click Install Now.
You can use FTP client like FileZilla to connect your web server.
- Unzip newzpaper.zip to your Desktop.
- Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of newzpaper theme.
- Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- You will see the theme in the list.
- Then, click Activate button.
- Now, the theme will be activated and go through the following options to set up the theme step wise.
If you want to import the demo content manually, then here is the demo file for you. Just click on the button to download the demo file
From Customize section, go to Homepage Setting you will see two option.
- Your Latest Posts Title : This option only works if Static Front Page is set to “Your latest posts.” This option allows to set the title.
- A static page: you will be able to set a page as Front Page and you will find Post Page option as well.

Note: All the custom sections of homepage will only be visible on Homepage setting once you set a page for the Homepage Setting option.
- Enable content : Check to display Homepage’s content. If this option is enable then the content of homepage is displayed. For Example “Home” is set as the front page then content of home is displayed at home page design after enable this option.
From Homepage : you can set any page as Homepage .
From Posts Page : you can set any page as Blog.
1. From the Customize section, go to Site Identity.
2. From Site Identity, the User will be able to incorporate different site identity options from Site Identity, such as:
- Logo( Only available in WordPress version greater than or equal to 4.5 ): This allows the users to set and modify the site’s main logo.
- Site Title: This allows the users to modify the title of the site.
- Tagline: This section allows the users to modify and set the tagline of the website.
- Display Site Title and Tagline: This option allows the users to enable and disable the display of the title and the tagline from the site.

Site Identity Extra OptionsThis section allows the users to choose different options to display the title, logo, and tagline.
- Hide All: Users can enable this to display anything in the header.
- Show All: Users can enable this to display the logo title tagline in the header.
- Title Only: Users can enable this to display only titles in the header.
- Tagline Only: Users can enable this to display only taglines in the header.
- Logo + Title: Users can enable this to display the logo and title in the header.
- Logo + Tagline: Users can enable this to display the logo, and tagline in header then click this option.
- Site Icon: The Site Icon is used as a browser and app icon for your site.Icon must be square and at least 512px wide and tall.
1. From Customize section, go to Colors.
2. From Colors, you will have these options:
- Header Title Color: This changes the header text color.
- Header Tagline Color : This changes the header tagline text color.
- Background Color: This changes the background color of the site.
1. From Customize section, go to Header Image
2. From Header Image, you will have these options:
- Header Image This changes the header image.
1. From Customize section, go to Background Image.
2. From Background Image, you will see:

Background Image: This will change the background image for the entire site.
Note: This theme has two menu locations provided as Primary and Social.
- Menu Options :
- Primary: This setting allows user to change Primary/Main menu.
- Social: This setting allows user to change social menu.
- Secondary: This setting allows user to change secondary menu.

Header Menu:
- Make Menu Sticky : This option is for menu sticky. If menu sticky is enable then the menu is fixed when user scroll.
- Enable Search Icon : This option is for search icon. If search icon is enable then the search icon will get added on primary menu.
- Advertisement Image: This setting allows user to add the advertisement image.
- Advertisement Url: This setting allows user to add url for the advertisement.
To create menu, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Menu .
OR
You need to create menu from / Customize / Menus / Create Menu .
You can create more menus in a similar way. After creating a menu, you need to add pages to that menu.
To add pages to the menu, you need to create some pages (For e.g: “About Us” , “Contact”). After creating pages you need to add that pages to the menu.
After you added the pages to the menu set the menu location from / Customize / Menus / Menu Locations /.
Two locations are available:
1. From Customize section, go to.
2. From Widgets, you will be able to Add and Remove widgets.
Note:
If you want to add a widget area in the footer then you must add widgets in Footer Widget 1, Footer Widget 2, Footer Widget 3, Footer Widget 4, and Footer Widget 5
Sidebar, Home Left Sidebar, Home Right Sidebar: This sidebar is default sidebar area. This sidebar area is displayed on the blog page, single blog pages, and pages.
The demo of the front page can be divided into different sections as shown below.
- Home Page
- Breaking News
- Hero Post
- Post Tab
- Latest Post
- Author
- Sunscription
These section’s content are display when you choose a static page option on Homepage Setting.
Catch Themes Demo Import Plugins are high recommended Plugins in this theme. Catch Themes Demo Import Import is recommended for demo import of this theme. To import the dummy demo data:
Note: You need to import demo data in fresh wordpress otherwise existing posts, pages, categories, images, custom post types or any other data will be deleted or modified.

To configure Home Page. section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Home Page.
In this panel, you will find:
- Select Homepage layout: This setting allows user to changes the home page layout.
- Sections Gap: This option allows user to set gaps in this section.
- Main Container Color: This option allows user to set color in the main container.
- Main Container Top Padding: This option allows user to set top space in the main container.
- Main Container Bottom Padding: This option allows user to set bottom space in the main container.
- Main Container Left Padding: This option allows user to set left space in the main container.
- Main Container Right Padding: This option allows user to set right space in the main container.
To configure Breaking News section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Breaking News.
In this panel, you will find these options:
- Breaking News Section Enable: Check to enable on home-page otherwise Uncheck to hide.
- Setting : This setting contains different options Breaking Featured Image Enable, Section Title, Slide Label which allows user to set image, title, label of breaking news respectively.
- Style : This setting contains different options.
- Breakingnews Section Title Color: This setting allows user to change the color of title of breakingnews.
- Breakingnews Background Color: This setting allows user to change the color of background of breakingnews.
- Breakingnews Label Text Color: This setting allows user to change the color of text breakingnews.
- Breakingnews Row Background Color: This setting allows user to change the color of row background of breakingnews.
- Breakingnews Text Color: This setting allows user to change the color of breakingnews.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
After Breaking News section is enabled, you will see following options (Setting, Style)
To configure Hero Post section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Hero Post.
In this panel, you will find these options:
- Hero Post Section Enable: Check to enable on home-page otherwise Uncheck to hide.
After Hero Post section is enabled, you will see following options (Setting, Style)
- Setting : This setting has content type.
- Posts: Selecting Posts as Content Type allows user to choose Posts from Select Post setting where featured image and content of that selected posts is displayed.
- Select Post : This setting allows user to select post to get featured image and content of that post.
Posts Options : It contains following settings
- Section Title Color: This setting allows user to set the section title color.
- Background Color: This setting allows user to set the background color.
- Text Color: This setting allows user to set the text color.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
To configure Projects section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Post Tab.
In this panel, you will find these options:
- Post Tab Section Enable: Check to enable on home-page otherwise Uncheck to hide.
- Setting: This section contains different options.
- Section Title: This setting allows user to set the title of the section.
- View More Btn Label: This setting allows user to label the button.
- View More Btn URL: This setting allows user to set the button URL.
- Select Including Categories: This setting allows user to select categories.
- Style: This section contains different style options.
- Background Color: This setting allows user to set the background color.
- Section Title Color: This setting allows user to set the section title color.
- View More Color: This setting allows user to view more colors.
- Post Title Color: This setting allows user to set the post title color.
- Text Color: This setting allows user to set the text color.
- Post Container Border Color: This setting allows user to set the post container border color.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
After Post Tab section is enabled, you will see following options (Setting, Style)
To configure Counter section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Latest Post.
In this panel, you will find these options:
- Latest Post Section Enable: Check to enable on home-page otherwise Uncheck to hide.
- Setting : This section has different options.
- Section Title: This setting allow user to set section title.
- Number of Posts: This setting allow user to set how many number of posts to show.
- Number of Content to Show: This setting allow user to set number of content to show setting where featured image and content of that selected Category is displayed as section content.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Background Color: This setting allows user to set the background color of this section.
- Section Title Color: This setting allows user to set the section title color.
- Post Title Color: This setting allows user to set the post title color.
- Post Text Color: This setting allows user to set the post text color.
- Post Separator Color: This setting allows user to separate the post by color.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
- Section Left Padding: This setting allows user to set the left space of the section.
- Section Right Padding: This setting allows user to set the right space of the section.
After Latest Post section is enabled, you will see following options (Setting, Style)
To configure Author section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Author.
In this panel, you will find these options:
- Author Section Enable: Check to enable on home-page otherwise Uncheck to hide.
- Setting : This setting has different options.
- Section Title: This setting allow user to set section title of this section.
- Author Name: This setting allow user to set author name.
- Author URL: This setting allow user to set author URL.
- Author Image: This setting allow user to set author image.
- Author Position: This setting allow user to set author’s position.
- Author Location: This setting allow user to set author’s location.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Background Color: This setting allows user to set the background color of this section.
- Section Title Color: This setting allows user to set the section title color.
- Post Title Color: This setting allows user to set the post title color.
- Post Text Color: This setting allows user to set the post text color.
- Post Separator Color: This setting allows user to separate the post by using color.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
- Section Left Padding: This setting allows user to set the left space of the section.
- Section Right Padding: This setting allows user to set the right space of the section.
After Author section is enabled, you will see following options (Setting, Style)
To configure Subscription section, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page / Subscription.
In this panel, you will find these options:
- Subscription Section Enable: Check to enable on home-page otherwise Uncheck to hide.
- Setting : This setting has different options.
- Section Title: This setting allow user to set section title of this section.
- Button Label: This setting allow user to set label of the button.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Background Color: This setting allows user to set the background color of this section.
- Input Field Color: This setting allows user to set the color of input field.
- Section Title Color: This setting allows user to set the title color of this section.
- Button Color: This setting allows user to set the button color of this section.
- Button Text Color: This setting allows user to set the button text color of this section.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
After Banner Post section is enabled, you will see following options (Setting, Style)
You will see following sections under Theme Options:
- Header
- Page banner
- Layout
- Excerpt
- Blog/Archive
- Single Post
- Widget Style
- Footer Options
The above sections are described below.
This option is used to enable/disable Header.
<1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Header.
3. In Header you will see:
- Enable Header : This enables to show Header .
- Setting : This setting has different options.
- Social Icon Enable: This setting allow user to enable/disable social icon.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Nav Background Color: This setting allows user to set the nav background color of this section.
- Text Color: This setting allows user to set the text color of the section.
In Header Section you will see following options (Setting, Style)
This option allows user to enable/disable page banner on the home-page.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Page banner.
3. Click on Page banner you will see.
- Enable Wrapper: This setting allow user to enable/disable wrapper.
- Enable Header Image Page/Post: This setting allow user to enable/disable header image page or post.
- Enable Breadcrumb: This setting allow user to enable/disable breadcrumb.
In page banner section you will see following options
This option is used to change the layout option of site also allows to change the Width of the body part.Available site layout is Wide& Boxed.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Layout.
3. In Layout Options you will see:
- Site Layout : This option is for Site Layout. You can change the layout of site
- Global Sidebar Position : This option is for Global Sidebar Position. You can choose either Right sidebar or Left sidebar or No Sidebar .
- Posts Sidebar Position : This option is for Posts Sidebar Position. You can choose either Right sidebar or Left sidebar or No Sidebar or No Sidebar Content Width.
- Pages Sidebar Position : This option is for Pages Sidebar Position. You can choose either Right sidebar or Left sidebar or No Sidebar or No Sidebar Content Width.
- Wrapper Width : This option is for wrapper width.
- Wrapper Max Width : This option is for wrapper max width.
This option allows user to set the excerpt length on the archive, blog and search.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Excerpt.
3. In Excerpt Options you will see:
- Column Layout: This option allows user to change column layout of Blog/Archive Page

3. In Blog Page you will see following option (Setting, Style):
- Setting : This setting has different options.
- Hide Category : This setting allow user to enable/disable category.
- Hide Date: This option allows user to enable/disable date.
- Hide Author : This setting allow user toenable/disable author.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Archieve Main Container Color: This setting allows user to set archieve main color.
- Post Container Color: This setting allows user to set the post container.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
- Section Left Padding: This setting allows user to set the left space of the section.
- Section Right Padding: This setting allows user to set the right space of the section.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Blog/Archive.
3. In Single post you will see options (Setting, Style):
- Hide Post Title: This option allows user to hide/show post title.
- Hide Featured Image: This option allows user to hide/show date featured image.
- Hide Date: This option allows user to hide/show date assigned in single post.
- Hide Author : You can hide/show the author image on single post.
- Hide Category: This option allows user to hide/show category assigned in single post.
- Hide Tag: This option allows user to hide/show views of tag in single post.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Single Post Main Container Color: This setting allows user to set color in main post container.
- Single Post Related Container Color: This setting allows user to set color of related container.
- Single Post Entry Container Color: This setting allows user to set color of entry container.
- Single Post Comment Container Color: This setting allows user to set color of tne comment container.
- Section Top Padding: This setting allows user to set the top space of the section.
- Section Bottom Padding: This setting allows user to set the bottom space of the section.
- Section Left Padding: This setting allows user to set the left space of the section.
- Section Right Padding: This setting allows user to set the right space of the section.
- Post Container Padding: This setting allows user to set the post space of the section.
- Related Post Container Padding: This setting allows user to set the container post space of the section.
- Comment Container Padding: This setting allows user to set the comment space of the section.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Widget Style.
3. In Widget Style you will see options:
- Enable Sticky Sidebar Homepage: This option allows user to enable/disable sticky sidebar of homepage.
- Enable Sticky Sidebar: This option allows user to enable/disable sticky sidebar.
- Widget Panel Container Color: This option allows user to set color of widget panel container.
- Widget Container Color: This option allows user to set color of widget container.
- Widget Text Color: This option allows user to set color of widget text.
- Widget Post Content Container Color: This option allows user to set color of widget post container.
- Panel Top Padding: This option allows user to set top space of the panel.
- Panel Bottom Padding: This option allows user to set bottom space of the panel.
- Panel Left Padding: This option allows user to set left space of the panel.
- Panel Right Padding: This option allows user to set right space of the panel.
- Widget Container Padding: This option allows user to set top space of the panel.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Footer Options.
3. In Footer Options you will see (Setting, Style):
- Setting : This setting has different options.
- Footer Wrapper Enable: You can easily enable/disable footer wrapper.
- Copyright Text: You can easily write copyright text.
- Display Scroll Top Button: You can easily hide or display scroll buttons.
- Style: This setting has different style options.
- Footer BG Color : This setting allow user to set/change Footer Section BG Color of Footer.
- Footer Text Color : This setting allow user to set/change Text Color of Footer.
- Footer Separator Content Color : This setting allow user to set/change separator Color of Footer.
- Footer Top Margin : This setting allow user to set/change top margin of Footer.
To configure footer widget, you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / widgets / Footer widget.
1. From Customize section, go to Reset all settings..
2. In Reset all settings you will see:
- Check to reset all settings: Check the Check to reset all settings and refresh the page to reset all theme settings to default.

2. Additional CSS you will see:

- You can add your own CSS here.
To update Theme though FTP, follow these basic steps:
- Download the latest version of Newzpaper theme from your Theme Palace member My Account to your Desktop
- Unzip newzpaper.zip to your Desktop
- Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of Newzpaper theme which shall replace the old files.
